Who we are
NAGG brings together Nigerian American golfers and their friends around a simple idea: that the game is better in company. What began as a handful of players meeting to compete has grown into a membership that travels across the United States, Canada and home to Nigeria to play.
The group exists to develop the Nigerian American community’s interest and participation in golf - on the course and well beyond it.
What an outing looks like
An outing runs Thursday to Sunday, with a round each day on a different course. Around the golf there is a welcome round for those arriving early, a skills competition, the championship itself, and a gala dinner where the prizes are given out and guests are welcome.
- Four rounds, four courses, one city
- A hotel held for the group, booked through the same form as the golf
- A gala dinner, with a place for the guests you bring
- Memorabilia from each outing - a shirt, a memento, something to keep
Playing with us
Membership is open to golfers of every standard; the field runs from scratch players to people who took the game up last season, and the handicap system means everybody has a competition worth entering.
Joining needs a membership key, which members of the group hand on. If you have been given one, the registration form will take a few minutes. If you have not, write to the committee and ask.
